John Pagano

Born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island, John credits his vocal style to the careful listening at an early age of such musical icons as Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Donny Hathaway and Marvin Gaye. John has been featured on ten albums, including the recently released “Pure Imagination,” which he recorded with a 40-piece orchestra at the legendary Capitol Recording Studio A in Hollywood, CA. During the “Pure Imagination” sessions, John transitioned effortlessly between the role of producer and vocalist, working closely with Los Angeles based session players that performed with the likes of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Chet Baker. John is also the featured male lead vocalist in the esteemed Burt Bacharach’s touring band. In addition to performing with Mr. Bacharach, John has worked with Grammy Award winning writer-producer Barry Mann, composer-producer George Duke, George Howard, Elvis Costello, Garth Brooks, Whitney Houston, Faith Hill, Wynona Judd and David Cassidy. Along the way, John’s voice also caught the ear of Jerry Seinfeld, for whom he opened shows in both Las Vegas and Atlantic City. More recently, John appeared in the Adam Sandler film “CLICK” and the Jim Carey film “Yes Man.”

John has also created his own solo symphonic pops show, a program featuring the legendary songs of Frank Sinatra, Cole Porter, Sammy Cahn, Jimmy Van Heusen, and the renowned Burt Bacharach. This is a moving Performance project that draws from John’s rich experiences: updating the soundtrack of his upbringing with his personal, R&B-flavored phrasing and the elegant sophistication imparted to him by Mr. Bacharach.
